One of the more underrated gets for Pitt football’s Class of 2022 might be Camden Brown.

Brown is a 6-foot-3, 195 pound wide receiver from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brown committed to Pitt in late June following his official visit.

Currently, he’s rated as a 3-star recruit but he’s very close to 4-star status and could be elevated at some point this season. Brown opened up his season yesterday on ESPN as St. Thomas Aquinas took on nationally ranked St. Frances Academy from Maryland. One tantalizing aspect to Brown’s game is that despite his frame and willingness to make the physical, contested catch, he also has the speed to blow by a cornerback to beat him deep.

Brown showed that ability on Saturday as he made a really nice catch down the sideline. Here’s that play plus his other catches from game one.
