On Tuesday, Malachi Palmer confirmed to Pittsburgh Sports Now that he would be visiting Pitt on Saturday.
Jeff Capel will be hosting several recruits on unofficial visits, and will most likely be heading to the first Pitt football game of the season against UMass.
Palmer is a 6-foot-6, 200-pound guard who attends Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Although he is just a sophomore, he already holds offers from Illinois, Houston, Creighton, Arizona State, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, LSU, Georgetown, DePaul and New Mexico State.
Pitt first inquired about Palmer back in the fall of 2020, when the staff reached out to his AAU coaches.
“I know it’s a prestigious school in the ACC,” Palmer told PSN around the time of Pitt’s first interest. “They are well coached and LeSean McCoy who is also from Harrisburg played football there.”
Another non-signee. . . why does Capel keep up this offer scam?
