Pitt Basketball Recruiting

According to Colby Giacubeno of Prep Hoops and 247 Sports, Pitt will be hosting another 2023 prospect on campus on Saturday.

Ball is a 6-foot-3 combo guard who plays for Saint James, a school in Hagerstown, Maryland, as well as Team Takeover, an AAU team that Pitt has targeted recruits from in the past. He will be visiting campus on the same day that Pitt football hosts UMass at 4 p.m., which will most likely be a stop on his trip.

An under-the-radar prospect, Ball holds offers from George Washington, VCU, Saint Josephs, and a few other smaller schools. Jeff Capel, Milan Brown, and the rest of the Pitt staff are going to use their DMV ties in this recruitment to try and nail down a guard in the 2023 class.

Hopefully he doesn’t bring his meddling father, Lavar, on the trip.
