Pitt Volleyball Moves Up to No. 4, Highest Ranking Since 2019

Following a pair of weekend wins, including a five-set match over No. 9 Baylor, the 5-0 Pitt volleyball team has moved up in the national rankings.

The Panthers learned this afternoon that they’re now ranked No. 4 in the country, a three spot jump from the previous week. This is the highest that Pitt volleyball has been ranked since 2019 when they were No. 2 in the country. It’s also the 12th time in the history of the program that they’ve found themselves in the Top 5.

How much of a national power and consistent has Dan Fisher’s program been?

This becomes the 57th consecutive week that Pitt volleyball has been in the Top 25 rankings.

After two consecutive weekends on the road, the Panthers return home for three matches in the Panther Challenge, starting with a doubleheader on Friday. At 10 a.m., Pitt hosts High Point and then return at 7 p.m. to take on BYU. On Saturday, Pitt will then challenge Bowling Green at 7 p.m.
