Twitter Reaction To Pitt’s Big Win At Tennessee

Published

on

For the first time since 2008 against Notre Dame, the Pitt Panthers have defeated a Power Five non-conference team on the road as today behind a tremendous effort from senior quarterback Kenny Pickett, the Panthers (2-0) defeat Tennessee, 41-34. This was Pitt’s first win over an SEC team since 2011.

This is a big win for Pitt as they’re now in a good position to go undefeated in non-conference play for the first time under Pat Narduzzi.

Ah, the sweetness of winning!
Kenny Pickett moving up to first or second-round NFL pick.
Great job by D-line. Tennessee had some horses on their O-line.
Where can I see TFL’s and sacks?
Snatch by Hill was super timely.
Hail to Pitt!!

Great team win! Two weeks to work on some things before turning to ACC play. Nice to see a TEAM with no egos! Experience played a factor and some young guys stepped up as well. Loved the play by Camp!

Reading the tweets on the Tennessee football Twitter account is hilarious. Everything from A to Z is being pointed towards as reasons why they lost the game. They lost because Pitt beat them.
