Pitt Volleyball Remains No. 4 in AVCA Top 25 Rankings

The Pitt volleyball team remains alone at No. 4 on the AVCA Top 25 for the second week in a row.

The ranking marks the third-consecutive week the Panthers have held a share of the fourth spot, tied with Ohio State for positioning three weeks ago.

Pitt’s location on the Top 25 is the program’s sixth-straight Top 10 ranking and 14th all-time appearance within the Top 5 spots.

AVCA’s latest update marks the 59th-straight week the Blue and Gold have appeared in the coaches’ poll ranking.

The Panthers took down Marshall and Morehead State in the Comfort Inn-vitational over the weekend to improve their undefeated start to 10-0, turning their attention to North Carolina in Chapel Hill to start ACC play on Friday.

Texas, Wisconsin, and Ohio State secured the top three spots ahead of the Panthers entering the week.
