Continue to do the things you do the way you do it. Alrighty then. 😂

Narduzzi says nobody was hanging their heads. Bates says defense was hurt. Both can’t be true.

I’d be fine with them making some in game adjustments to stop an RPO slant every now and then.

I just read that Narduzzi is thinking about being upstairs in the box in the near future. At this point I love the idea of Narduzzi being in a box. A box that’s labeled return to sender and shipped out by UPS.

You willing to pay his $4 million salary for the next 4-years? If not …..

You would think that switching to a man free coverage would be more effective against the RPO than the quarters coverage that Pitt runs. That way the linebackers need just worry about following 1 guy

Nothing will change because the Duzz is smarter than everyone and one bad game doesn’t dictate panic! He actually said after Western Michigan “one bad game”. I can count 20 bad defensive games and if Pickett ever misses significant time we are toast. It’s amazing how he is carrying this team.
He needs to go now, doesn’t Heather see the empty seats? Wait till next year.

The D was on the field for damn near 3 whole qtrs!
How do you win time of possession? Oh yeah, RUN THE BALL. But, Pitt can’t run the ball. WHY?
Can’t recruit RB’s and the ones he recruits sit behind upperclassmen who don’t deserve to be watched let alone play. And, if no one on the OL can run block you had better start recruiting some MUCH BIGGER BACKS. But, Pat, keeps gnome hunting.

That’s what happens when you have a QB coach as your OC…The dinosaur knows as Coach Whipp will always want to throw the ball which is going to get Pickett injured eventually. This whole staff needs to go, or just be content with empty NFL stadium on Saturday and 7 wins a year.

Offense is the least of our issues! We usually score 21+ per game.

I love Bates, but it’s very sad to hear that he isn’t changing much, again! Duzz said broke after one bad game? Try 15 games! His system HASNT WORKED, but he doesn’t see it. Maybe from the box he’ll see how wide open all other team’s the WRs are like we do in the stands.
H2P!

While we’re rightfully calling out everything that we feel is lacking where is John Morgan? I may well be missing something because I’m human like everyone else but did Morgan go on vacation or something? I thought he could become a disruptive player on defense but I haven’t heard his name called all that much. If Morgan is missing in action perhaps it’s time we see more Dayon Hayes.

What’s to say Bates/Narduzzi weren’t willing to give up defensive schemes against an out of conference opponent? Base defense for the whole game sounds like “we care more about upcoming ACC opponents than a MAC team”. Bates is smarter than that, using a base defense for 60 minutes.
