Kenny Pickett’s tremendous senior season continued this afternoon against Georgia Tech as he set another team passing record.

Pickett’s 16 yard touchdown pass to tight end Lucas Krull was his 14th touchdown pass in his last 3 games, which is a new Panther record. The previous record of 13 was set by Pitt great Dan Marino.

Pitt led at the half by the score of 42-14. Pickett was 18-26, 328 yards and 3 TD’s. The Panther offense was virtually unstoppable in the first first, especially the Panthers passing attack.

Pitt First Half Scoring Plays:

Pitt OL reminds be of the lines that made Conners and Ollision NFL picks. They are big push DL 2 yards back but we are running flea backs and moderate size backs with no speed or vision. Start Carter and Sibley run them up the gut, get 4+ on first down, Kenny will have a picnic. Pitts defense can rest and the opponents defense like any alabama game will be gassed. Both backs ar 225-230lbs.
