The Pitt Panthers opened conference play using the same formula that they’ve used over the first four games of the season: let the right arm of Kenny Pickett lead them to victory. Pickett continued his record-breaking senior season and the Panthers offense overwhelmed the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defense, 52-21.
Pickett finished the game 23-36 for 389 yards and 4 Touchdowns and 0 interceptions.
Pitt (4-1) are off this coming weekend before they have another ACC road game, taking on Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
Following the loss to Western Michigan, Pitt fans are back and excited about the potential of this team.
