While visiting Pitt on Saturday, wing Darren Buchanan received some very good news from head coach Jeff Capel.
Capel extended an offer to Buchanan shortly after Buchanan took in the team’s scrimmage, which was open to the public.
Buchanan is a 6-foot-7, 225-pound 2022 small forward who plays for Woodrow Wilson in Washington D.C, as well as Team Durant on the Nike circuit, alongside Pitt commit Judah Mintz. In addition to Pitt, he holds offers from Xavier, VCU, Rutgers, Seton Hall, and several other smaller programs. After missing out on other wing targets throughout the summer, Capel has now shifted his focus to Buchanan, in hopes of landing the rising prospect.
Another tweener SF type. Of which many are available.
