Robert Morris Athletics announced a partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group to telecast six Horizon League basketball games throughout the 2021-22 season.

The deal includes four TV games for men’s basketball and two for the women’s basketball program.

Games will air live on 22 The Point in Pittsburgh, and MeTV Ohio Valley for the Stuebenville, Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia markets.

“Through our partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group, we are able to provide RMU alumni and college basketball fans with more basketball content and coverage than ever before,” RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King said in RMU’s announcement.

Both programs are entering this season after underwhelming first showings in the Horizon League, and are gearing up for a sophomore run at the conference after making the transition from the NEC during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Men’s basketball will host Wright State on January 13, Milwaukee two weeks later January 27, Detroit Mercy February 9, and conclude the TV schedule February 17 hosting IUPUI. Each game will begin at 7 p.m.

Women’s basketball will also tip-off their two games at 7 p.m. from the UPMC Events Center, hosting Youngstown State January 20 and Wright State almost a month later on February 18.
