Pat Narduzzi’s Pitt Panthers are now 5-1 following their impressive 28-7 road victory at Virginia Tech.
Pitt sits in first place in the ACC Coastal Division with a big game ahead this Saturday at home against Clemson (4-2).
An interesting thing to watch today is to see what the national writers think of Pitt and whether or not they’ll crack the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time this season. Considering what happened nationally on Saturday, their appears to be a chance. Consider that, #2 Iowa, #11 Kentucky, #17 Arkansas, #18 Arizona State, #19 BYU, #20 Florida and #25 Texas all lost.
Our PSN Poll Question this morning is, when the new rankings come out this afternoon, will Pitt be ranked?

How many people honestly think that Coastal Carolina is the 15th best team in the country?!? Cincinnati has a good win against ND and deserves to be ranked but doesn’t play anyone else all year. Their 2nd best win is against Miami-Ohio.
Rankings come out too early and then they have to try to validate dropping someone. Now you get Coastal Carolina 15th and Cincinnati #3 in the country?!?
Pitt needs one more week unranked to keep playing the disrespect card to stay pissed off.
