Pitt’s string of games on national television will end at two, following Saturday’s contest against Clemson.
The ACC Conference announced on Monday that Pitt’s home game against Miami, Fla. on October 30 will have a Noon kickoff and will be televised on the ACC Network. The struggles of Miami in 2021 likely play into both the kickoff time along with the television coverage.
Last Saturday’s game against Virginia Tech was televised on ESPN2 and this Saturday’s game against Clemson will be shown on ESPN.
Looking ahead to the next couple games on Pitt’s schedule, following Clemson, they travel to Duke and that game in all likelihood will be an ACC Network game. The following week, is a Thursday night game against North Carolina (November 11) and that will be televised on ESPN.
Isn’t ACC network National TV?
No. ESPN/ABC are national TV
ACC Network isn’t even regional because it still doesn’t exist on half the carriers.
If Pickett is going to have a legit shot at the Heisman he needs to be at is best in front of a national audience and a great defense in Clemson.
This Saturday is his turn to put on a show and put his name among the few that have a realistic shot at the Heisman.
