Bad news for the Clemson football program as injuries continue to pile up.
Tigers Illustrated is reporting the Clemson will be without their leading wide receiver for Saturday’s game vs. Pitt.
Joseph Ngata will reportedly miss tomorrow’s game due to COVID. Ngata is Clemson’s leader in receiving yards with 352 yards on 18 catches. The Tigers offense will also be without starting center Hunter Rayburn due to COVID. Rayburn also missed last Friday’s game at Syracuse.
Clemson could also be without wide receivers EJ Williams (broken finger/knee) and Frank Ladson (groin).
If Williams and Ladson are unable to play, Clemson’s top three wide receivers would be Justyn Ross (28 catches for 282 yards), Davis Allen (14 catches for 94 yards) and Kobe Pace (5 catches for 68 yards).
Tigers Illustrated is reporting that injured running back Will Shipley could return for tomorrow’s matchup at Heinz Field.
Dumb reason for him to be out, but huge news for us.
wow … comes in buckets doesn’t it. hope all those players are ok and recover quickly. also, would like to see shipley play. let’s hope he can go. i wouldn’t sleep on Clemson either way. they have good players and a high talent level but maybe are light on experience.
H2P !
