Pitt FB Recruiting

Pitt Football Will Have Opportunity To Make An Impression on Plenty of Recruits

Published

on

It’s not an overstatement to describe this as the biggest home weekend of the Pat Narduzzi era at Pitt.

The No. 23 ranked Pitt Panthers will host perennial national powerhouse Clemson with a 3:30 PM kickoff at Heinz Field. Pitt will look to remain in sole possession of first place in the Coastal Division and take a step closer to earning a spot in the ACC Championship Game in December. Not only will quarterback Kenny Pickett have the opportunity to continue to build his resume for a possible Heisman Trophy run but more importantly, the Pitt football program will be exposed to a number of recruits throughout the country.

Today’s game will be televised on ESPN which will give recruits across the country an opportunity to watch Pitt but plenty will also be doing so in-person. Pittsburgh Sports Now has been told that tomorrow’s game will have the most recruits in the stadium for any game during Narduzzi’s tenure.

PSN has been working all week to confirm recruits that will be in attendance and here are the names that we’ve come up with. Keep in mind, we don’t have access to the complete list and more will be at Heinz Field than we’re naming. We’ll continue to work to get more names and when we do so, we’ll add them to this list.

Who is the QB you think Pitt has the best chance to sign? Without the greatness of Pickett I’m scared this offense is going to take a big step back.

way too early to think/worry about anybody in the transfer portal. Kenny wasn’t great until this year so we definitely can’t write anybody off…

Brady Quinn just picked Pitt to be knocked out of the top 25 today. Disrespect is in the air fellas so make him eat his words.

A lot of recruits tweeted a “ thank you” for visiting yesterday. One who didnt was Rodney Gallagher – that cant be a good sign.
