Former Penn Hills star Dante Cephas is being recognized for the tremendous season he’s having at Kent State.
The sophomore wide receiver has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. This award is presented to the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
Cephas is having a breakout season, as he leads the Golden Flashes with 50 receptions for 683 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Cephas has recorded three 100-yard games and has at least one touchdown in four of his last five games. His breakout performance was a 13-catch, 186 yard, 3 touchdown game against Buffalo.
