Pitt Football Ranks Sixth in ESPN’s FPI Rankings

Pitt football ranks among the top teams of the nations when it comes to FPI as they cracked ESPN’s Top 10 FPI list coming in at number six

FPI Stands for “Football Power Index” which measures a team’s strength and predicts a team’s performance going forward.

The Panthers come with a projected win amount of just under 11 wins, they have a 26 percent chance of winning out. They also have an 89.5 percent chance of winning their division and a 60 percent chance of winning the ACC conference.

Georgia ranks at the top of the FPI list, right behind them is Alabama, followed by Ohio State, Michigan, and Oklahoma. Right behind Pitt is the Flordia followed by, Iowa State, Cincinnati who is ranked second in the country in the AP top 25 poll, and Clemson rounds out the top 10 list.
