If Capel isn’t to blame, especially for the roster, then who is? The inability to land any recruits is a problem, and it is squarely on the coaching staff, and the head coach specifically. If Capel isn’t to blame for not having his team ready to play mid-majors, low-majors, and military academies, then who is? If he couldn’t win with Xavier Johnson, AuDiese Toney, and Justin Champagnie, who can he win with?
