Updated WPIAL Brackets after Second Weekend of Playoffs

There are only two weeks of WPIAL football remaining, and the matchups are getting tighter as the path to the championships continues.

One champion will be crowned this week, with the Class-6A bracket ending at Norwin High School on Saturday night in a showdown of top-ranked Mt. Lebanon and second-seeded Central Catholic.

The other five classifications will play their semifinals, leading up to five title games over two days at Heinz Field next week.

CLASS-6A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

No. 1 Mt. Lebanon vs. No. 2 Central Catholic at Norwin, 7 p.m. Saturday

CLASS-5A SEMIFINALS

No. 1 Moon vs. No. 5 Penn Hills at North Allegheny, 7 p.m. Friday
No. 2 Penn-Trafford vs. No. 3 Pine-Richland at Gateway, 7 p.m. Friday

CLASS-4A SEMIFINALS

No. 1 Belle Vernon vs. No. 5 Thomas Jefferson at West Mifflin, 7 p.m. Friday
No. 2 Aliquippa vs. No. 3 McKeesport at Canon-McMillan, 7 p.m. Friday

CLASS-3A SEMIFINALS

No. 1 Central Valley vs. No. 4 Elizabeth Forward at West Allegheny, 7 p.m. Friday
No. 2 North Catholic vs. No. 3 Avonworth at Fox Chapel, 7 p.m. Friday

CLASS-2A SEMIFINALS

No. 1 Steel Valley vs. No. 5 Beaver Falls at Dormont Stadium, 7 p.m. Friday
No. 2 Sto-Rox vs. No. 6 Serra Catholic at South Fayette, 7 p.m. Friday

CLASS-A SEMIFINALS

No. 2 Cornell vs. No. 3 Bishop Canevin at Montour, 7 p.m. Friday
No. 5 Rochester vs. No. 9 OLSH at North Hills, 7 p.m. Friday
