Burton is currently warming up with the team, and looks to be full speed ahead of the Tuesday night game.
Burton transferred to Pitt after stops at both Wichita State and most recently Texas Tech. He had his best career season two years ago at Wichita State, in which he averaged 10.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Burton’s return is a massive addition for Pitt, who has been very thin at the guard position throughout the first two games of the season. Along with Femi Odukale, Burton will play both the one and the two and give the Panthers a reliable scoring option from the back court.
