Pitt Football Extends Offer to 2022 Virginia Tech Commit Braelin Moore

As they prepare for their biggest game of the 2021 season, the Pitt football staff made an interesting offer Friday morning.

The Panther coaches extended an offer to 2022 3-star offensive guard Braelin Moore (6’3″, 292) from Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This interesting angle to this is that Moore is currently committed to Virginia Tech.

However, with the recent firing of head coach Justin Fuentes, Pitt is obviously checking into whether Moore is potentially interested in flipping his decision. Moore has been committed to the Hokies since February 27, 2021. Pitt isn’t the only program to recently extend this talented lineman an offer. Since Fuentes was let go, Moore has also received offers from West Virginia and Minnesota.

One factor that could sway Moore to keep his commitment to Virginia Tech is that his older brother, Kaden, is currently a freshman offensive lineman at Virginia Tech.

Moore is currently the 15th ranked player in the state of Pennsylvania and the 17th best offensive guard in the country.
