Schedules Set for WPIAL Finals at Heinz Field

One WPIAL champion was crowned on Saturday night and the schedule has been set for the rest of the title games on Thanksgiving weekend.

Five game will be played over two days at Heinz Field this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 26 and 27.

The weekend will start with the Class-A title game between Bishop Canevin and OLSH. That game will kick off at 2 p.m. Immediately following at 5 p.m., the Class-2A championship between Beaver Falls and Serra Catholic will begin.

Both of Friday’s games can be attended with the purchase of one ticket, through Ticketmaster. The games will be broadcast by TribLive HSSN.

On Saturday, the Class-3A championship starts the day with a noon kickoff between Central Valley and North Catholic. Belle Vernon will face Aliquippa in the Class-4A title game at 3 p.m., and the Class-5A showdown between Moon and Penn-Trafford.

All three of Saturday’s games can be attended with the purchase of one ticket, through Ticketmaster. Saturday’s three games will be broadcast by WPCW-TV, Pittsburgh’s CW.

Mt. Lebanon won the WPIAL Class-6A title with a win over Central Catholic on Saturday. The Blue Devils’ season will continue in the WPIAL quarterfinal against McDowell at home on Friday night. That game will kick off at 7 p.m.
