Report: Pitt Hosting Several First Love Players for Vanderbilt Game

According to a report by Jake Lieberman, Pitt is hosting several local prospects for tonight’s game against Vanderbilt.

Those prospects include Fray Nguimbi, Mason Manning, and Amaan Sandhu, who are in the class of 2022, as well as Madelo Deng, who is a part of the class of 2023.

Both Manning and Nguimbi have visited Pitt multiple times previously, and Nguimbi, a 6-foot-7 wing, has become one of Pitt’s top targets as of late.

Sandhu is a 7-foot-2, 260-pound center who holds offers from Rider, Robert Morris, and Robert Morris.

I guess Sandhu got 2 offers from Robert Morris. But this demonstrates how far Pitt and Capel have fallen. . . he is now competing for local recruits with RMU. . . sad.

Not a good thing to host recruits. No need to show them how terrible this team is. After watching this team, if I were a top recruit I would not come here. This team has no toughness, no shooters and very little talent. They will not win 8 games.
