It’s now official- No. 17 Pitt (9-2) will take on No. 18 Wake Forest in the 2021 ACC Championship Game on December 4 in Charlotte, NC.
Wake Forest took care of business today and secured a spot by defeating Boston College on Saturday, 41-10.
This will be a matchup and two high-powered offenses led by two talented quarterbacks- Pitt’s Kenny Pickett and Wake Forest’s Sam Hartman. Entering tonight’s game, Pickett has 3857 yards passing and 36 passing touchdown passes. Hartman finished the regular season with 3,711 yards and 34 passing touchdowns.
Pitt and Wake Forest haven’t played each other since 2018 when the Panthers clinched their first ever Coastal Division Title.
