CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In the second quarter of Saturday night’s ACC Championship Game, Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett connected with Jared Wayne on a 4-yard touchdown pass, tying the game at 21 giving Pickett sole possession of the ACC’s single season passing touchdowns record.

Pickett has thrown two touchdowns so far in the game, his 41st and 42nd, tying and then breaking Deshaun Watson’s record set back in 2016.

Earlier in the game, Pickett’s first touchdown pass set Pitt’s career touchdown pass record, with that toss being his 80th of his career with the Panthers.
