CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Early in the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s ACC Championship, Pitt’s AJ Woods made a quick break on a Sam Hartman pass over the middle, snatched the interception, and made a game-changing return, setting the Panthers up for more points.

Woods took the interception all the way back to the three yard line, a 73-yard return. That 73-yard return broke the record for longest interception return in ACC Championship Game history, and also set Pitt up for another touchdown moments later, which gave it the a 17-point lead.

That pick was Woods’ second career interception, and his first of the season.
