Kenny Pickett Planning to Play in Pitt’s Bowl Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Saturday night, Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett put an exclamation point on a spectacular season by leading Pitt to its first ever ACC Championship.

However, when writing the story of Pickett’s college career, you may want to add another exclamation point.

After the game, Pickett confirmed that he is planning to play in the team’s upcoming bowl game.

Pickett finished the win over Wake Forest going 20 for 33, passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns. He also opened the game with a spectacular 58-yard touchdown run to give the Panthers a 7-0 lead.

In the ACC Championship alone, Pickett set the record for most passing touchdowns in a single season by an ACC quarterback, as well as most passing touchdowns in a career by a Pitt quarterback.

Pitt will find out its bowl destination on Sunday.

I’m hearing the Peach bowl with Michigan State, BYU or Oklahoma State as the opponent.
