Monday night, Greater Johnstown School District named former Pitt cornerback Antwaun Reed as their head football coach.

Reed, a Greater Johnstown School District alum, played all four years at Pitt, tallying 62 tackles and 87 total tackles along with two interceptions from 2008-11. He later went undrafted in the 2012 NFL draft and ended up signing with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent.

After signing with Cleveland, Reed appeared in two preseason games before suffering a leg injury and was released before the start of the 2012 season.

Reed succeeds Bruce Jordan, who held the head coaching position at Johnstown for three seasons posting an overall record of 1-28.
