The Pitt Panthers volleyball team is set for the NCAA Regional Semifinals Thursday back at the Fitzgerald Field House, but first even more honors were bestowed on the No. 3 overall seed in the tournament.

Kayla Lund, Chinaza Ndee, Serena Gray, and Leketor Member-Meneh, dubbed “The Fab Four” were each named to the AVCA All-Region team Tuesday.

The award marks the fourth consecutive for Lund and third for Ndee and Gray, the former two in their fifth season of eligibility, and first for Member-Meneh. Gray earned her first two awards at Penn State in 2018 and 2019 before transferring to Pitt this season.

These four players continue to rack up recognition for their fantastic season, hosting the regional side of the bracket for the next two rounds.

Pitt (28-3) hosts Kansas (18-11) Thursday at 1 p.m. with a win placing the Panthers in the regional finals at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
