Die-Hards: Pitt Football Working Hard to Secure New Commitments Before National Signing Day

Christmas Day for people interested in high school football recruiting is almost here as National Signing Day is less than two days away.

Verbal commitments will turn into signed Letter of Intents, or in some cases, will become flips to other programs.

Pat Narduzzi and his coaches had their last opportunity to make an in-person impression on recruits last week and over the weekend as they hosted a number of them on their official visits. Today is now an official dead period, which means that coaches are not permitted to have in-person contact with any recruits.

Here are some thoughts on where Pitt stands with some players and a decision by Narduzzi that could have a big impact on some players choice.
