We’re less than 24 hours away from High School Football National Signing Day.

This is the day when verbal commitments turn into signed commitments and high school athletes become official members of a college program.

Unlike in years past, tomorrow doesn’t appear to be a very busy day for Pitt. Because of limited scholarship availability for this year’s class, the Panthers won’t be taking in 20+ players as they done in years past. Pitt currently has 10 verbal commitments, with the chance of adding a handful more of high school players or transfers.

Here are the names of the players that we’ll be keeping an eye on and the information regarding their National Signing Day activities.

3-Star Offensive Lineman Isaiah Montgomery (Virginia Beach, Virginia): Signing Ceremony, Wednesday at 3 PM at Landstown High School.

3-Star Defensive Back/Linebacker Marquan Pope (Denton, Texas): Signing Ceremony, Wednesday at 8 AM (Central) at Denton Guyer High School.

3-Star Defensive End Jimmy Scott (Athol Springs, New York): Signing Ceremony, Wednesday at Noon at St. Francis High School.

3-Star Defensive Back Ryland Gandy (Buford, Georgia): Signing Ceremony, Wednesday at 6 PM at Buford High School.

4-Star Offensive Tackle Ryan Baer (Eastlake, Ohio): Officially Signing on Wednesday, will have Ceremony on December 17 at Eastlake North High School.

3-Star Athlete Che Nwabuko (Manor, Texas): Signing Ceremony, Wednesday at 2 PM (Central) at Manor Senior High School.

4-Star Wide Receiver Camden Brown (Fort Lauderdale, Florida): Will announce decision. Will have complete Signing Ceremony in February.

4-Star Defensive End Samuel Okunlola (Brockton, Massachusetts): Will announce decision at 2:20 PM ceremony at Thayer Academy. Will be broadcast on CBS Sports HQ.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Sean FitzSimmons (Central Valley High School): 3 PM ceremony at Central Valley High School.

3-Star Wide Receiver Addison Copeland (Buffalo, New York): Waiting To Hear Back.

3-Star Linebacker Kyle Louis (East Orange, New Jersey): Waiting To Hear Back.

**The two transfers that we’ll be keeping an eye on are Florida State quarterback transfer Chubba Purdy and Akron wide receiver transfer Konata Mumpfield. Keep in mind, transfers are under no deadline to make a decision. Although most like to make a decision and get settled in at their new school early, they are under no deadline to make their choice.

Out of the offers he has, what program is he signing with then? These things can be unpredictable, but highly rated players often wait until signing day to commit , primarily to see how many offers they can attract. Waiting until signing day to make an official commitment, adds to the sense of accomplishment for the player. There are some clear signs that there is a decent chance that Brown will choose Pitt.
