PSN Poll Question: Which Transfer QB Do You Want at Pitt?

The big discussion today amongst Pitt fans is the group of transfer quarterbacks that potentially have interest in joining the Pitt program.

Florida State’s Chubba Purdy, USC’s Kedon Slovis and Texas A&M’s Zach Calzada have all been linked to Pitt over the last 48 hours.

All three players come with upside and plenty of positives. Slovis and Calzada bring plenty of in-game experience playing in major college action. Purdy brings tons of potential plus four seasons of availability.

Our PSN Poll Question today us if you had your choice, what option would you select: Purdy, Slovis, Calzada or would you rather Pitt see what they have with the quarterbacks on their roster?

Which quarterback would you like to see transfer to Pitt?

My vote – none.
We have a 3 star Nick Patti and two 4 star quarterbacks Beville and and Yellon. They have been in the system for years behind Pickett and under the tutelage of Whipple. The fact that they couldn’t beat out a potential 1st round draft choice doesn’t mean they are dog meat.

Yellen is immobile and has not shown any promise, Patti has some potential but he has what 2 years remaining?

Beville has not had a chance to play against any notable competition so we shall see.

For next season the Pitt QB situation is a huge question mark, they need to land a impact QB transfer.

Remember Max Browne, 5 star rated but ineffective when he had his chance.

Though he was underwhelming prior to transferring to pitt. He may have been over valued. Do not disagree about Yellen. He has not shown a ton at ASU or Pitt when he has had his chances. Maybe he has gotten better. Beville the jury is out as you mentioned. Yarnell may be the best of the remaining QBs but I have no idea. You are absolutely correct about next… Read more »

Mike you also bring the most up to date content. Do you think you will be doing any updates on the interim OC or the Marion saga? Both are really hot takes that no one is saying a peep about…’s kinda weird.
