On Monday, Andy Toole and Robert Morris lost forward Mattia Acunzo to the transfer portal.
Acunzo, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, appeared in just three games due to both COVID and injury problems throughout the early portions of the season. The Italy native scored seven total points on the year, averaging 2.3 per game.
He is now searching for his third school in just two years, after transferring to RMU from Toledo this past year.
Coming out of Kennedy Catholic High School, Acunzo also held offers from American, Bucknell, Appalachian State, William and Mary, James Madison, Stony Brook, and more.
