With Kenny Pickett opting out of the Peach Bowl, he’s set himself on a collision course for the NFL. And he’s officially signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME Sports) to help himself get there.
WME is one of the biggest talent agencies in the world, partnering with some of the biggest actors, singers and athletes in the world, and now Pickett will be the next in a long list of NFL clients.
After a star-studded super-senior campaign for Pitt, finishing as a Heisman finalist and breaking a multitude of single-season and career Pitt records, Pickett is expected to be selected among the first quarterbacks chosen in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Pickett has been ranked as the top quarterback in the 2022 draft class by a couple of prominent NFL Draft analysts, and he’s consistently been selected in the first round of mock drafts over the past month.
Of course, it’s early in the draft process, but all signs point toward Pickett being a high pick for an undetermined NFL team in the near future.
Pickett accepted his Senior Bowl invite and will head to Mobile, Alabama in early February, and his Pro Day and NFL Combine participation will likely be determined in the weeks and months to come.
The 2022 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 28 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
