Pitt’s Starting Offensive Line Will Return in 2022

Published

on

More good news for the Pitt football program: A day after landing much sought after transfer quarterback Kedon Slovis, the program received some equally as important news.

Four members of Pitt’s starting offensive line announced at the same time on Twitter that they’d be returning for the 2022 season.

The big news of that group is Warren, who is the Panthers best offensive lineman and would have been selected in April’s NFL Draft. In fact, Warren caught the eye of NFL Draft analyst Joe Marino, which led to this tweet this morning from Jim Nagy, the director of the Senior Bowl.

This news coupled with the news of Slovis plus the return of Pitt’s trio of running backs and a majority of their stable of wide receivers, including Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison, Pitt will be the preseason favorites in the ACC Coastal Division and a team that will be ranked in the AP Top 25.

Getting Carter Warren back is huge- hopefully he stays injury-free and improves his draft position. This should be an incredibly deep o-line..

This is probably bigger news than landing Slovis.
