Femi Odukale Named ACC Co-Player of the Week

On Monday, Pitt’s Femi Odukale was named ACC Co-Player of the Week, sharing the award with Notre Dame’s Dane Goodwin.

In Pitt’s game last week against Jacksonville, Odukale tied his career high in points, putting up 28 points on an outstanding 9-of-13 shooting. Odukale hit 5 of his 7 three-point attempts, 5 of his 10 free-throw attempts, and also dished out three assists.

On the year, Odukale is now averaging 12.4 points per game, along with 3.8 rebounds per game. The sophomore is playing an average of 30.7 minutes per game, more than ten minutes more than last season, and has become one of the best point guards in the conference.

Odukale and the Panthers will take on Goodwin and Notre Dame in their next game on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at the Petersen Events Center.
