Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Last Second Loss to Michigan State in Peach Bowl

Published

on

It wasn’t pretty to watch from an offensive perspective but that’s to be expected when a team is down to their third string quarterback.

Despite playing without Heisman Trophy finalist Kenny Pickett and then losing Nick Patti early on to a shoulder injury, Pitt led Michigan State for most of the game. But after playing great all game, their defense allowed a last minute drive as the Panthers fell to Michigan State, 31-21, in the Peach Bowl.

Can we keep it to non-vulgar posts only?

I am referring to the content of the article. The tweet from Tristan Freeman (3rd to last post) should not have been included in this piece due to its profane language.

It was a good season for sure and the team played well but seeing so many content and without criticism for certain things is really disappointing. Big bowl games shouldn’t be just having fun and whatever result is cool.

The 3rd and 1 call was ridiculous and even though Beville was inexperienced and your 3rd string quarterback you can’t just be so conservative in that environment. Have a little trust in the kid or don’t bother sending him out there. Care about winning or don’t accept the invitation to play.
