Duquesne Returns to the Court to Face UMass After Missing Weeks

On Saturday, Duquesne will travel out to Massachusetts to take on the Minutemen in an Atlantic 10 battle at noon.

The Dukes (5-7, 0-0 A10) will be playing their first game in 20 days, after four straight games have been postponed due to COVID. UMass (7-6, 0-1 A10) enters the game with a 6-0 record at home on the year.

In Duquesne’s last game, Leon Ayers led the Dukes to victory over UC Davis with a 24-point performance. Ayers is now the team leader in scoring, as he is averaging 12.9 points per contest. Behind Ayers, forward Kevin Easley is up next for the Dukes, averaging 12.8 points per game, along with 6.7 rebounds.

UMass is led by junior guard Noah Fernandes, who is leading the team in points (16.2 per game) as well as assists (5 per game).

The Minutemen rank No. 136 in the nation, according to Kenpom.com, while Duquesne sits at No. 196.

The game will be televised on ESPN+. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the spread currently sits at UMass (-4), with the over/under set at 148.
