Die-Hards: What Happened With Naquan Brown and Pitt

Players transferring from teams happens on a daily basis, so fan bases of all college programs are almost getting numb to when it happens.
However, some eyes were raised on Wednesday when former 4-star defensive end Naquan Brown decided to leave the Pitt program after just one season. To Pitt and Pat Narduzzi’s credit, the transfer epidemic hasn’t hit their program like most teams in college football. The great majority of players that have transferred from Pitt were ones that had been in the program for a few years and weren’t high on the depth chart and didn’t see a realistic path to the field.
Brown didn’t fit that description and his situation has certainly not been the norm at Pitt. The news no doubt caught many people by surprise, so what happened and led Brown to transfer?
