Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Lindsey to get his reaction to the offer from his hometown team plus what he experienced today on his unofficial visit.
“The best part of the visit was definitely getting the offer,” said Lindsey. “It was shocking because I hadn’t expected it actually. Once I had gotten it, I had a really big smile on my face but also getting to take pictures with the uniforms on was great too since I got to take them with my Quip teammates.”
“It was a great day overall. Going around campus and seeing the different buildings and classrooms and facilities that Pitt has. Also, seeing the coaches and meeting some of the players was cool too. I learned about the different programs that Pitt has for students and what schools means to them. I learned about what a Forever Panther was which was cool. Also, the high standards they have in school. Overall, it really was a great day.”
With the news today, two players on the Aliquippa team holds offers from Pitt- Lindsey and freshman Tiqwai Hayes, who also visited today.
