Jeff Capel, Jason Capel Not With Team in Boston Due to COVID Protocols

Published

Just over an hour before tip off against Boston College, Pitt announced that its head coach Jeff Capel, along with his brother Jason, did not travel with the team to Chesnut Hill due to COVID protocols.

Behind those two, look to Associate Head Coach Tim O’Toole to take over head coaching duties for the game against Boston College. Pitt also has another Associate Head Coach, Milan Brown, who will play a big role during the game for the staff.

The game, which tips off at 4 p.m., was initially scheduled for Saturday, one day ago. However, due to a snow storm on the East Coast, the game was postponed until Sunday and the team was not able to get to Boston until just a few hours before the game.
