**Joe Moorhead and Akron extend an offer to 2023 quarterback /defensive back Cruce Brookins from Steel Valley High School. This is big for Brookins because it’s his first D-1 offer.

**Akron continues to recruit players from Western Pennsylvania with the latest offer going to 2023 3-star defensive end Kameron Cheatom from Brashear High School. Cheatom (6’3”, 220) also holds offers from Kent State and Toledo.
