With the Class of 2022 officially closed today, the Pitt Panther coaching staff now has their focus towards bringing in a top-class year.
At this point, New Jersey 3-star wide receiver Zion Fowler is the lone member of Pitt’s Class of 2023. After only bringing in 12 high school players this recruiting class, next seasons will be much larger.

Khamari Anderson is someone that Pitt has recruited for well over a year and tomorrow he plans on ending his recruitment.
The 4-star tight end from Cass Tech HS in Detroit, Michigan announced Wednesday night that he will announce his college decision Thursday night at 5 PM. Anderson tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that his finalists are (in no order)- Pitt, USC, Howard, Cincinnati and Michigan.
The good news for Pitt is that Anderson is familiar with the Panthers program, having visited twice, including his latest visit for their Coastal Division clinching win over Virginia. The elite tight end has also developed a strong relationship with his chief recruiter at Pitt, Archie Collins. The bad news is that all the recruiting crystal balls are predicting that Anderson will select either Michigan or Cincinnati.
The fact that Harbaugh decided to stay at Michigan yesterday and he’s committing today tells me all I need to know. We don’t exactly do well with Cass Tech athletes to begin with.
Terrence Enos played for Cass Tech.
Pitt Fans, don’t get your hopes up; The 247 Crystal Ball has Anderson at 💯 going to Michigan
He Picked Cincinnati
That shows that pitt had a chance.
Still sucks that kids are picking cincinatti over pitt even after the championship season. These are the types of kids pitt needs if they are going to get to the next level and be a national contender.
