Postgame Reaction After Pitt’s Loss to Georgia Tech

PITTSBURGH — On Saturday night, Pitt fell to Georgia Tech by a score of 68-62 on senior night at the Petersen Events Center.

Pitt was led by Mo Gueye, who delivered a career-high 27 points, as well as John Hugley, who added 18 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Pitt’s weakness at the guard position was made
more evident by GT whose guards made the
difference.Horton is effective in the corners
shooting 3s,but he’s a liability at other aspects
of the game.Oudukale is too much of a turn over
machine which is not helpful if you are the
point guard.If Pitt can get a legitimate point guard
in the portal transfer, he may be able to make
Hugley an all American.

Some think just because they’re played at the PG position, that must make them PG’s. WRONG. When you have no-one else, somebody has to play the PG position. Capel get’s a lot of these kids(the few he does get to sign), not Shooting guards since they can’t shoot very well and not PG’s cause they can’t run offenses and can’t distribute the ball ala a true PG.
