NEW YORK — Fresh off his appearance at the 2022 NFL Combine, Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett took in his school’s ACC men’s basketball tournament game at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. The Panthers were facing Boston College in the opening game of the 2022 ACC Tournament.
Pickett had seats in the first row behind the Pitt bench, sitting alongside Pitt associate athletic director and football color commentator Pat Bostick.
Pickett is spending his time training for the 2022 NFL Draft near his home in Ocean Township, New Jersey, which is about 50 miles south of New York.
The Pitt star spent all of last week in Indianapolis for the 2022 NFL Combine, where he ran a 4.73-second 40-yard dash, in addition to performing on-field workouts and interviews with teams and the media.
The trip to the Big Apple is at least the second for Pickett since the end of his strong senior season with the Panthers. He was in New York in December as a finalist for the 2021 Heisman Trophy.
