Duquesne is looking to add not only depth but versatility to their backcourt for the 2022-23 season.

Following extensively scouting him at a JUCO Tournament this week in Kansas, Keith Dambrot and the Dukes have extended an offer to point guard Drake Allen from Snow College in Utah.

Despite already having freshman point guard Primo Spears, the Dukes staff believes that Allen can play the point for them but with his size (6’4″) is a multiple position player.

Allen has many strengths that should allow him to become an instant impact player next season. Those include his explosiveness which has made him an outstanding playmaker. Allen is also a really good athlete as well a team oriented winning guy and very versatile.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

Along with Duquesne, Allen holds offers from North Dakota, Tennessee Tech, Northern Illinois, Radford, Florida International, Bowling Green, Southern Indiana, Western Illinois, Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.

Allen will have three seasons of athletic eligibility remaining.
