PITTSBURGH — On Friday, Sister Jean, Loyola-Chicago’s 102-year-old superfan, was in Pittsburgh for the Ramblers’ first round game against Ohio State.

Jean Dolores Schmidt is the official team chaplain for Loyola who became a national sensation back in 2018 during Loyola’s tournament run. Now, four years later, Sister Jean is still with the Ramblers, cheering them on in this year’s tournament.
