As Pitt tries to build around star big man John Hugley, it continues to reach out to prospects in the transfer portal at every position, including other forwards.
According to Travis Branham of 247 Sports, another player that the staff has reached out to is Jalen Bridges, who entered the portal from nearby West Virginia after playing two years under Bob Huggins.
Bridges, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds this season while shooting 43% from the field and 33% from three. A native of Fairmont, West Virginia, Bridges had perhaps his best game of the year against Pitt. Facing the Panthers, he hit six of his nine field-goal attempts including four of his six three-point attempts em route to 18 points.

Capel’s dumpster dive continues.
Arkansas, Ohio State & Michigan State are among the teams that are interested in him. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
A major disgrace for a Division 1 program and AD really screwed this up. I will continue to laugh if he can’t get recruits. I would love to see more Pitt players his transfer portal. What a disgrace.
