According to Andrew Slater of Pro Insight, the two brothers will both be visiting Florida Atlantic this upcoming weekend. Jorge is 6-foot-10 power forward, while Guillermo is a 7-foot center, and both have expanded their skill sets immensely in the past year or so. Earlier this season, the brothers moved from Spain to the United States to play for IMG Academy in a prep year.
“We have been playing so much so sometimes we just need to look at each other’s eyes to know what to do,” Guillermo said in an interview with Pro Insight. “Our play is like, when he’s in the post, I pass him the ball and just cut to the rim and he gets me. It’s always a free basket. We’ve been doing that so long it’s just like a habit.”
The two brothers received interest from Gonzaga, Loyola Chicago, and others early on in their United States careers, and more schools have continue to take notice and join in the recruitment battle.
Pitt has six open scholarships and no players committed for the 2022-23 season. John Hugley and Max Amadasun are the only forwards currently on the roster after losing Mo Gueye to graduation and Noah Collier and Dan Oladapo to the transfer portal.
I just can’t anymore with Pitt basketball recruiting articles. You guys are working harder to write these things than Capel and his crew are working to land some of these guys.
They are writing an article on 2 kids that pitt offered. That is pretty much the whole point of the site.
Why is that working hard? I really dont understand your comment
The point is Pitt has 4 players and no hope of getting anyone worth a damn. Capel couldn’t recruit a boat of sailors to go to a strip club after six months at sea.

They have a 0% chance of landing anybody good. Who would come to play for Jeff?
After two years of reading about top recruits offered by Pitt and with the exception of top recruit Hugley who by coming to Pitt, Capel has turned him into the poster boy of his inability to coach or stand behind his players. Players of the caliber of the two twins seen in the video might consider coming to Pitt if Pitt fired Capel immediately and hired Kentucky’s assistant Pitt alumnus Orlando Antiqua. The Latino connection as well as playing for a successful coach might pull off a miracle since these kids look like program savers. Anyone following college basketball knows… Read more »
Anyone can recruit for Kentucky where they get nothing but 4 & 5 star players. How did Antigua do recruiting for South Florida in his one & only head coaching gig? His record was 23-55. No big schools will be hiring him to run their program.
Everything you said about Capel is 100% accurate. With that being said, I sure miss my $1.78 gas and the world at peace right now so if that is what we get with a con man then sign me up for some more of that.
You claim that Antigua (note correct spelling) is a successful coach? His record was 23-55 in his one & only chance to be a head coach. As far as being a master recruiter, anyone can recruit for Kentucky. How did he do recruiting for South Florida… 23-55. No school will be hiring Antigua.
Is it still a unibrow if there’s 2 of them?

Isn’t Santos a forward?

Which brother is better?
