Pittsburgh Native Mike Iuzzolino Enters Transfer Portal

Published

on

On Monday, Pittsburgh’s own Mike Iuzzolino entered the transfer portal after playing one season for Bryant.

Iuzzolino appeared in 12 games this season, hitting two of his eight field-goal attempts and scoring eight points on the year. Bryant won the NEC made the NCAA Tournament in his lone year with the program, eventually falling in the First Four to Wright State.

Iuzzolino, son of Robert Morris assistant coach and former NBA player Mike Iuzzolino Sr., played one season for First Love Academy in Washington, Pennsylvania to close out his high-school career. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 20 points per game there and earned reported offers from RMU and Sacred Heart before choosing Bryant.

I assume the school is Div.2.If so,are any Div.2 players part of the portal transfer.? I realize that there are
players in Div 2 who have had very little basketball experience, prior to Div. 2 competition and
show dramatic improvement. But if your father
was an NBA player, you are probably going to have
all your skills by the end of H S..Anyway,
good luck to the young man.
